Project 1 Ideas Eden

 For my project idea, I wanted to discuss what I think the future of entertainment could look like. There are two outcomes that I could kind of see happening; either entertainment and consumerism (via TikTok and streaming services) will become very monotonous in the way these social platforms put pressure to buy the same thing or watch the latest show (language like "just have to have" and "went viral" become more repetitive and pressuring). I imagine the old example of everyone being the exact same and the world becoming gray, though I think it will be more product and opinion based. On the other side, I could see this going the opposite way with the way in which algorithms and platforms take so much information to try and get you to buy or watch something. Everything could become so individualized that there will be a lack of general interests and will cause a rift in social communication. I imagine people not being able to find things to talk to each other about, as everything will be so incredibly tailored to your specific feed.
